Early Assurance Program Yeshiva University Einstein Medical Scholars Program
Overview
High school senior applicants should have a demonstrable interest in medicine and be certain that medicine is the lifetime career they want to pursue.
The interest may be demonstrated in a variety of ways, including significant medical-related volunteer hours, personal experiences that focus on medicine, experience with healthcare providers and institutions and/or bio medical research.
YU-Einstein Medical Scholars will be encouraged to explore a wide range of Yeshiva liberal arts and sciences majors, to acquire a broad-based education that can be applied to the study of modern medical science. Students should display commitment to service and community through their extra-curricular activities. Applicants will be required to respond to the following supplemental questions:
Many students who declare themselves ‘pre-med’ at the undergraduate level, eventually select a different career path. What is your motivation to choose a career in Medicine and what makes you confident in that career choice?
Describe your activities that have influenced your decision to pursue a career in Medicine. Why are you interested in attending AECOM, and how would attending AECOM satisfy your specific interests, goals, and aspirations?
Describe what attracts you to spend your pre-med, undergraduate education at Yeshiva University. Please share with us anything about yourself that you would like us to know. (optional)
