Internships and STEM-OPT

Gain industry experience through internships that count toward your degree. The M.S. in Finance is a STEM-approved degree. International students may be eligible for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT). The program also offers several opportunities for Curricular Practical Training (CPT).

Can I Join the Program Without a Background in Finance? Yes, But…

The M.S. in Finance is designed for students of all majors looking to expand their knowledge of finance. However, we do ask that our students will have sufficient knowledge of statistics and mathematics (see prerequisites) that will allow them to derive the most from the program.
