Melanie Leslie became dean of Cardozo Law School on July 1, 2015. She is the first Cardozo Law graduate and the first woman to hold the position.

Andrea Kupfer Schneider is a Professor of Law and Director of the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution at Cardozo School of Law.

Meet our Delegates

Stephen Wah

Stephen Wah is an adjunct professor of law and a managing associate in the New York office of Pasich LLP. He has litigated in New York and federal courts, representing clients in a wide range of complex coverage disputes, including first and third-party claims, insurance broker liability, directors and officers liability, and bad faith litigation. Stephen has also recovered millions of dollars in wrongfully denied insurance proceeds and related damages for policyholders. Stephen has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for Insurance Coverage from 2021-2023.

Denise Pasi

Denise Pasi serves as an LL.M. Fellow for the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution. An alumna of Cardozo’s LL.M. in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy, she is a litigation attorney from Zambia with experience in commercial and labor and employment litigation in the mining and energy sector, as well as transactional work. Denise is a recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Performance in the LL.M. Program Award and a recently elected board member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, Greater New York Chapter.

Our Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution is one of the earliest dispute resolution programs in the U.S. The devoted professors are high-level practitioners and thought leaders who teach four DR clinics that feature the latest in theory and practice innovations. Our vibrant Cardozo dispute resolution community— exceptional students from around the world and alumni— enjoys theoretical study, intensive skills training, clinical work, externships, and scholarship opportunities.

Scholarships Are Available

Vis participants interested in Cardozo’s LL.M. program can apply for a merit-based scholarship to the Cardozo LL.M. program. Qualified, full-time candidates who begin their studies in the Fall and Spring terms and have demonstrated superior academic achievements may apply.
